Treating your
pet like family.

At Jackson Country Kennel, we can’t wait to spend time with your pet! We love every pet as if it were our own, and our trained staff will give your pet the attention, playtime, and special treatment he or she deserves. We welcome dogs as well as cats, and have private areas for each of our guests.

We would love for you to get to know our facility and meet our staff, and we encourage all first-time visitors to schedule a tour before their stay. Let us show you how our attentiveness to your pet sets us apart, and why you can entrust Jackson Country Kennel with caring for your fur-baby.

We provide bowls, beds, and blankets for all of our guests, and ambient music is always playing in the building to help soothe and relax them. We want to accommodate your pet’s unique personality and needs, so please let us know if there is anything we can do to help make your pet’s stay more enjoyable.

Whether it’s your pet’s first time staying with us, or they’re a JCK regular, we hope your pet will love their home away from home.

Dog Boarding

Overview

Depending on the size and temperament of your dog, you may decide whether a Run or a Crate would be the best fit for his or her stay at Jackson Country Kennel. With either choice, each guest will have their own bedding and blankets for their comfort.

Please review the categories to the left to learn more about our dog boarding services.

Dog Runs

Boarders who are staying in a Run will have access to both the indoors and outdoors throughout their stay. These guests will also be brought outside to play in one of our three large yards, multiple times each day. At night, they will be kept indoors in their portion of our secure, climate-controlled building.

Dog Suites

Our suites are perfect for older or very laid back dogs who prefer to stay indoors – and like a little more quiet. We have multiple sizing options for different size dogs. Boarders who are staying in our suites are out 6 times a day in one of our large play yards.

Food:

We encourage pet owners to bring the food their pet typically eats. Any changes in eating habits could lead to an upset stomach for your pet, which could result in an uncomfortable visit. We require that food is provided in an airtight, sealed container or zip-lock bag. Please let our staff know if your pet’s food needs to be refrigerated.

Personal Items:

We provide blankets and towels for your pet’s comfort. You are also welcome to bring your pet’s personal items, like blankets and toys, to make your pet’s time with us feel more like home. Please remember to label all personal items.

Vaccinations:

In order to protect your pet, as well as all other guests at the kennel, we will not be able to board or bathe any pet that is not up-to-date on their vaccines. Jackson Country Kennel must have written proof from your veterinarian that your pet is up-to-date on all of their vaccines prior to boarding or bathing.

Dogs must be vaccinated against Rabies, Bordetella and Distemper Parvo.

Bordetella Vaccine Requirements:

If your pet has never had a bordetella vaccine or is overdue, we require that the vaccine be given at least two weeks prior to boarding.

Medications:

Please bring any medication your pet needs to receive while you are away. All medication needs to be kept in its original prescribed container with the instructions from the veterinarian. If your pet’s food or medication needs to be refrigerated, we have a refrigerator for safe storage until your pet needs it.

Age Requirement:

Your pet must be at least 6 months (24 weeks) old to board at JCK. They must have completed all rounds of their puppy vaccines to board. If you have any questions about whether your pet has completed all rounds, please contact your veterinarian. Read our FAQs for more information.

Dog Lodging:

$35.00 per night
$32.00 per night for each additional dog in the same lodging

Note:
– If pet is picked up in the afternoon, you will be charged for the day.
– A going rate percentage convenience fee will be automatically applied to all credit card transactions.  This amount is determined by the credit card company.

Kind words from our clients.

My dog has been staying with (JCK) for 5 years now. He loves them and they love him! I cannot get down their driveway fast enough before my dog wants to get out of the car to see them!

Angela M.

We boarded our 14 year old Weimeraner with JCK last week. It was our first time boarding him anywhere and our first time using this kennel. Not only is it clean, it’s staffed and run by the nicest people you’ll ever meet.
